Completed
6. Register to be an organ donor.
I did this online on the 28th. It was surprisingly easy for a government process.
56. Start a Bucket List.
I know I already completed this one but I actually lost my original list, which I wrote on a loose piece of paper. I've rewritten it, this time electronically.
In Progress
3. Read 100 books and write a review for each (11/100).
During this month I read Mrs Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert O'Brien, The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper, A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula Le Guin and The Changeover by Margaret Mahy. I haven't written reviews for all of them but those I have done can be found here.
17. Keep a blog of my progress (with photos where possible).
For a few months after starting uni I really fell behind with my updates but I'm back on track now, updating once a week to my journal and (usually) once a month to comms.
31. Maintain a planner for a year (7/12).
33. Watch and keep a log of 100 movies (64/100).
I watched 7 movies this month. Six of them I only watched because Lee Pace was in them =P
- Toy Story 3 (I actually saw it twice. Definitely didn't disappoint. Better than Toy Story 2 IMHO)
- The Fall (AMAZING. I only watched this for Lee Pace but it was actually an incredible movie)
- Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (Adorable and fun. Set in the 40s, a decade I simply can't resist)
- Soldier's Girl (Wow! Seriously, wow. This movie is awesome and Lee Pace was incredible in it)
- Marmaduke (Terrible. Just...no)
- Possession (Eh)
- A Single Man (Colin Firth om nom nom. Also, the cinematography of this movie is beautiful)
I added eight goals this month:
- 60. Get a course transfer to Arts/Science or start a Diploma of Arts.
- 78. Get a second pair of glasses.
- 79. Attend 3 V8 Supercar events I've never been to before (1/3).
- 80. Fill up a sketch book.
- 81. Write and mail 10 letters (4/10).
- 82. Spend a day exploring Melbourne like a tourist.
- 83. Convince my sister to do NaNoWriMo.
- 84. Go to the library at least once a week for the rest of the semester.
55. Shower in under 10 minutes every day for a week (0/7) ten times (2/10).
Completed my second non-consecutive week on the 23rd.
59. Donate 100,000 grains of rice using freerice.com (13,100/100,000).
Donated another 2,000-ish grains.
63. Complete the 50 Questions That Will Free Your Mind (11/50).
I started this on the 29th. My answers so far are here.
71. Make regular posts to
organizers (at least once every 3 months) for as long as I maintain a planner.
Posts at organizers are f-locked so, for those of you who aren't members, I also cross post to my journal. My April/May post is here.
76. Collect and have printed at least 30 good pictures of friends/family/pets (collected - 13/30, printed - 0/30).
I added four photos from my family Queensland trip to my "to print" folder.
79. Attend 3 V8 Supercar events I've never been to before (1/3).
At the start of the month I went up to Queensland for about a week and a half and while I was there I went to the Sucragen 400 in Townsville.
It was awesome. Click on the picture to see my picspam.
81. Write and mail 10 letters (4/10).
And as soon as I find some stamps I'll mail some more.
84. Go to the library at least once a week for the rest of the semester (1/12).
I went this Thursday just gone during my spare time between classes. It was lovely.
